Harptabs.com Mobile App Update
avatar

Well a new version of the Harptabs.com Mobile App is almost done.  This new version will allow you to add and remove favorites right though the app.

Google now has the ability to allow people to do beta and alpha testing of apps, so we are going to release a beta version of the app very shortly.  The beta version may not be fully functional but if you would like to test it on on your device we would be happy to get feedback on it.  Once it looks like everything is working properly on the app we will then move it to alpha and if that looks good we will roll it out to everyone.

So if you are interested in beta testing the app keep an eye out for a link to the invite… it should be out in a day or two.

Droid Razr Jelly Bean Update
avatar

There was a Jelly Bean update accidently released around Christmas time.  You can download the file from this link and then copy it onto an SD-Card and update the phone using these directions:

  1. Turn off the phone
  2. Hold The Power Button, Volume Up and Volume Down buttons… I know it is awkward but that is the only way to do it…
  3. A Boot Screen will appear, use the volume down button to go to Recovery
  4. Press the volume up button to select it
  5. When you see the Android bot with the exclamtion mark press both the Up and Down Volume buttons.
  6. A menu will open up use the volume down button to move to “install update from external storage”
  7. Press the power button
  8. Use the volume down button to highlight the file on your SD Card and then press the power button again.
  9. Enjoy the Update!

It does take a little while to install the update since it has to change a lot so don’t worry if it seems like it is never ending.
