There are hundreds of different flashlight apps out there which had all sorts of bells and whistles. I like the plain and simple interface of Droidlight. This app just displays a simple bulb in the center of the screen, which when you touch it, it lights up and your flashlight turns on. It also has a neat little feature where if you leave the app open without the flashlight on and turn off the screen, when you turn on the screen the flashlight will turn on.

If you are like me I have systems which I am responsible for 24×7 which are running Linux. A great little app which allows to do connect to Linux servers using ssh. The app allows you to setup port forwarding and it can even use certificate authentication. This is one app I use quite frequently.
ConnectBot
Android is based on Linux, but most of the Linux functionality you are used to is missing. Busybox allows you to add those missing functions to android. Unfortunately the busybox installer will only work on a rooted android phone. It is a free app though and I highly recommend it on any rooted device.

I have begun working on a Harptabs.com Android App. It is already coming along nicely and I am almost ready to release it. I have to just write some code on the website to work with but other then that the app itself is all done.
I have found two bugs which were preventing the uploading of images and files… I am not sure why no one noticed these till recently but I made the changes and they should be working now.
I also updated the file clean-up script to remove blank entries automatically. There were quite a few of them so you may notice files appear to have disappeared but I promise they were all blank.
